ECOWOOD

ECOWOOD is class of WPC material (Wood Polymer Composite), which is made by combination of waste wood and the PVC based polymer resin. As we are using specialized PVC based resin as the polymer for ECOWOOD, the product is fully resist to termite attack, no additional process required to make it termite resistance. ECOWOOD though they have wood particles embedded in the matrix structure it does not absorb water thus our product is 100% water proof. And also they have good workability and can be shaped using conventional woodworking tools.


WPCs are often considered a sustainable material because they can be made using recycled plastics and the waste products of the wood industry. Which make ECOWOOD green product. Waste of ECOWOOD can be recycled easily in a new wood-plastic composite and be utilize as the substitute to the resin in the formulation. Manufacturing Process

Our production process is exclusive in srilanka with automation and high quality. The production process itself environmental friendly approach, where we mix 15% to 20% of wood powder in to the formulation. Source for this wood powder from wood waste. We have tailor made our formulations to blend any kind of wood waste in production process. This approach reduce the waste flow to the environment thus this will lead to GREEN MANUFACTURING PRACTICE. Further with the automation we have minimize Labour force drastically, if we speak in number we have cut down 50% of the labour force. Which will benefices both cost wise and production output.


Wood Polymer composite, as the name suggests, is a material constructed out of wood fiber in combination with specialized PVC based polymer resin. These composites (WPCs) are produced by thoroughly mixing ground wood particles and heated polymer resin. WPCs produced from either virgin or recycled polymer resins. Additives such as external and internal lubricants, heat stabilizers, foaming agents, and foam regulators help tailor the end product to the target area of application. The additives of ECOWOOD is environmental friendly and no harm to any organisms in the Eco system. Each and every materials were tested and verified by international bodies to ensure the safety.
